While the team is amazing and has hooked me into women's softball, the reality is the illegal pitch rule is a fascinating topic. It naturally generates discussion. Is the call subjective and why is it not consistently called? Will the rule change? What will the coaches do about it? How will it impact Emma? What risk is there if it continues to be called?

But let's be clear... this "illegal pitch" topic is far more likely to impact a game (it already has), then other topics that fans like to obsess about (eg: uniforms, stick it in chant, etc)
